The Big 3 of Selden, Mason and Ellis come through again. Not sure what Self saw but the Mickelson minutes were productive from a +/- standpoint. My guess is it was a chance to get Diallo minutes and Bragg as well and not so much a negative on Mick. Devonte' continues to have negative +/- stats. It is getting hard to ignore. Greene also has bad night. Traylor's +/- is pretty consistently poor. I rarely understand why he is on the floor. He is a liability in more ways than he is a benefit in most games. And I mean liability only in terms of compared to the alternative. In other words, I can not see a reason why he would ever play over Lucas or Mickelson. Just my opinion.

So, who had the 4th best delta on the +/- in the last game, one of only 5 who had a positive on that, but hasn't played yet.

Another clue: who started in 4-5 of the last games, but in those games has hardly played in the second half.

Yes, Mickelson. I swear he must've done something really terrible that Self won't disclose/admit.

I realize that Bragg and Diallo really showed promise in the last game and Lucas, who I usually root for, played great against OU and really saved our bacon in the 2nd OT, but I cannot understand why Self doesn't play Mickelson more. Regardless of his stats, the team does better when he is in there. Does Self hate analytics? Does he look at stats at all?

When will some reporter ask Self these questions, so I don't have to?

Mongo just pawn in game of life.
