Can’t stand Scott Drew

I still have no clue how Scott. Drew is able to field a #1 squad. It’s just hard to understand Baylor having such a strong program in Waco. Begs the question, what else is going on?

Very good question. My theory, and it is only a theory as I have facts to back it up. I think all the TX money that used to support UT and SMU is now behind Bayor. In large part due to Kay Bailey Hutchison.

Thanks Hairy. I am sure there are things happening behind the scenes, but iI thinks this happens at all schools. What I don’t get is how does a imo does a Coach like Drew pull together this good a squad. Baylor’s guards are playing outstanding, but why are they at Baylor. I don’t recall these guys originally committing to BU, and it’s not like freaking Waco is a garden spot with tons of exposure.

Part of it is I dislike the fact that Baylor can field teams despite a track record of criminal conduct by their basketball and football programs . A freaking player was murdered. BU should be banned period, yet KU gets the Level 1 notifications.

Now the weasel Drew has a number 1 team is just wrong. They shouldn’t be able to field more than 3 walkon’s and managers.

So what if Baylor has a great team this year? It's like once in a blue moon this happens. Maybe he just happened to get dumb lucky...got some good guards and they are playing well. Who cares? It doesn't align with KU fans to think that Baylor is good so something must be amiss. That, to me, sounds like fans from other schools.

No need to say this is what other fans do. It is a legitimate question. How many instances are there of teams having great seasons and only then we find out something else was going on?

I don't know. How many instances are there? That'd be an interesting fact to dig up. Where is Corpus LOL there is probably some stat on it.
