True.
But bad press focused on Puke?
(Especially these days?)
Schadenfreude.

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
I get it in this case. K heard them calling out Capel by name but misheard what they were saying, and shut them down. Imagine a former KU player coming to coach here (Manning, Turgeon, Haas, etc.) and the crowd getting on them. No bueno unless the former coach did something REALLY bad.
I guess the only thing that should have gone off in K's mind (maybe the hair die is seeping into his brain) is to question IF the fans were really being negative toward Capel, which it sounds like they weren't. All I know is that if one of our alums comes back to coach against us, he'll be welcomed and treated like a Jayhawk (even if the goal is to beat the snot out of whatever team he brings with him). If KU fans started booing Danny or one of the others, I would applaud HCBS if he barked at the offending fans.
