Bruce Webber was classy in the postgame presser taking responsibility for his guy not backing off and not losing with class.
Waiting to hear from Self.

DeSousa shouldn’t have stood over the player, but wasn’t he then cold cocked by some KSU staff, starting a brawl. Picking up the chair was bad.... ugh
I initially thought the same about the guy in street clothes, but he is actually a KSU player named James Love who is apparently out for the year due to injury. Looked pretty healthy to me tonight.
And up to and including Silvio taunting the guy -- which would have yielded the unsportsmanlike conduct T, Silvio's ejection and the free throws even before considering the ensuing melee -- there really was little to talk about until (1) the KSU players already on the court and then the bench players (e.g., James Love) came after Silvio, and (2) the KU bench emptied in response.
Just grateful Coach Jerrance Howard got a hand on the stool and got Silvio to put it down.
