If you want to view my player ratings you can find it here --> Player Ratings

We are clearly the "Big 3", at least based on my player ratings. Devon has been consistently great until a down game against West Virginia. Udoka has been great except for the Stanford game. Marcus has had a few down games but overall has been great, by far his best season as a Jayhawk. All three have composite ratings above 0.66 per minute. That is very good. Ochai has been okay but not great. A player rating of 0.52 per minute is what you would expect of a good 6th or 7th man. But not great for a key starter. McCormack's composite rating is heavily skewed by his 4 great games. He has dominated against weak competition but has been poor against strong competition. Christian was not good at all to start the season but has come on like gangbusters. The last 4 games he has been as effective as Ochai, albeit with fewer minutes. Braun looks like he is really coming of age. I hope that progression holds. He looks like he may be moving toward elite starter rating efficiency. He was great against Stanford. Tristan started out like he was going to move straight into the starting lineup and has fallen off a bit, although he was really really good against Villanova and Stanford. He should certainly be in line for minutes as the season progresses. Moss is the enigma. He was an assassin against Stanford but has been mediocre of less otherwise. He was nice against Colorado but not great. He has been mostly unimpressive in terms of rating.

It does not show on these charts, but Garrett has the highest plus minus on the team by a good margin. We would have won had he played the whole game against Villanova. Garrett is arguably the MVP at this point.

Concur on Garrett as our MVP. (Just made that same observation to HawkErrant after Saturday’s game)

Disagree on Devon’s game against Villanova being great (implied by your comment that he has been consistently great until WVU). He was horrid down the stretch in that one, with the game on the line, and that cannot happen with our floor leader.

Your assessment pretty much matches my eyeball test.

Garrett, to me, is the most interesting case. We already knew that Doke was going to get lots of dunks if he can stay healthy. Ditto that Dotson is lightning quick and is a great PG. I remember, however, that in the past there were many saying that Garrett was a bit of a liability on offense and that was impacting his minutes. Now, nobody is saying that. To me, it's not so much that he's improved on offense, but more about his game overall. I think on offense, he was considered a liability because he wasn't a strong outside shooter. While he's improved somewhat there, he's still not the guy who's going to put the dagger in you from outside. Instead, I think he's made the difference by figuring out how to slash and drive. That, combined with huge effort on both sides of the court, and he's one of the best 'glue guys' around. Doesn't make a lot of mistakes, plays great defense, is a great athlete, and has found a way to maximize his effectiveness on offense.

To me, the jury is still somewhat out on Braun and Enaruna...need more data points to feel 100% comfortable with them. Agbaji is a great player when he's "on" but seems to be a little streaky at times. I'd like to see more consistency out of him. Still not sure what to make of Moss.
