I can ignore Walton. What I can’t ignore is when the game is still going on and the camera is not on the court but on the “personalities”. Really ticks me off.

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
Simply awful.
First there's the "all about me" aspect. Shut up Bill. We don't care. We care about the teams on the court. Stop overshadowing them.
"Jake" Bilas? Even after he was corrected he continued.
Then there was the whole story about how his family knew a kid who goes to Virginia Tech (not a basketball player apparently) who went to New York to see a Bob Dillon show. How is that relevant to anything at all?
I have no idea who (besides Bill Walton) finds him entertaining or informative. He's useless.

Dickie V. would be more tolerable than Walton. What a maroon.
No matter how hard the other guy tried to corral him into the actual game going on, he went on endless idiotic ramblings.
I finally had to just shut the volume off and watched the entire second half in the quiet of the house.

For ESPN announcers there is Dick Vitale and there is Dick Vitale on Drugs (ala Bill Walton). Wanted to attach pictures but couldn't figure out how in the short time I had.
