I read this and am more determined than ever that KANSAS fight the NCAA tooth and nail on the notice of allegations.

No wins at risk is fundamental (the NCAA had declared Silvio eligible at the time he played, and Memphis won’t lose any wins despite playing Wiseman for 3 games when the NCAA had already declared him ineligible), Silvio ($2500) has already sat out 3 times the games Wiseman ($11500) will, and Federal prosecutors have already won their case that KANSAS and other schools were victims in everything the NCAA is saying KANSAS was complicit in.

And just look at how fast the NCAA ruled in the Memphis/Wiseman case! My god, how can the anti-KU bias be denied?

Not sure how you're reading my mind, HE, but it's a little scary.

My first impression was the speed at which the NCAA ruled. With our cases, it seemed like the NCAA tried to delay things as much as possible, but the fact that they made a decision on this case so quickly seems like a clear double standard.

I agree that we need to push back hard on the NCAA and put THEM on the defensive and have them explain why cases are treated so differently.

WTF!!! Agree! I just heard of Wiseman situation, what 6 to 8 weeks ago, and now - full resolution!! NCAA enforcement committee must have had lunch catered by Jimmy Johns ‘cause that was FREAKY FAST compared to any time period it takes KU to get an answer - while players college careers wilt like lettuce on a week old sandwich.

"That's stupid"

Yes, Silvio, it is.

In other news, it now looks like KU has until late February to respond to the the NCAA idiots:

Finally, KU isn't the only group who think the NCAA is pretty arbitrary in their dealings. Today, Tom Izzo quit the NCAA coaches board in protest of the NCAA denying a waiver Joey Hauser.

Somehow I see Self and Izzo finding a quiet spot at the resort in Maui, grabbing a cocktail and having a little mutual venting break during their downtime.
