Some nice things and some not so nice things. Looks like two great teams in the first game of the season. Oh wait, that’s what it is. the big glaring stat is turnovers as in 18 in the first half. No doubt Duke’s very tenacious defense had something to do with that. But to be fair, at least half of the TO’s were unforced or unnecessary. Some nice things though. McCormack was aggressive on the boards. Dotson was aggressive driving. Garrett had some nice drives. End Arun a looked very good. Our defense was pretty good as well. Other than the incredibly high 18 TO’s a decent half for a first game. Poise boys!!
