That was a pretty pitiful half. 18 turnovers. One team looked like a bunch of scattered freshmen, the other a tough, well coached active bunch of veterans. But...KU was the former, Duke the latter. Amazing they're only down three.

Duke had 3 assists on 13 FG’s and KU had 4 assists on 10 FG’s. That is early season basketball right there. KU is typically closer to 55-60%. Duke’s 3-13 is a lot of run and gun. Not a lot of pretty offense for Duke but they got a lot more shots on goal because of the TO disparity.

If I knew we were going to have 18 turnovers in the first half I would have thought we would be blown out. To be only down 3 makes me think we could have a very good 2nd half.
