Crowd was sparse, especially in the student section. Somewhat understandable being Halloween. But those that were there were enthusiastic.

Not much to say about the game as PSU was so overmatched. Great line by Andersen, what do they feed those guys? Its recruiting mate! Something you could not do at MU and now PSU. Sad when you look over at the opposition and the tallest person in the huddle is the coach.

McCormack and Doke played well together. The big guys are getting how to stay out of each others way. If McCormack, and hopefully Silvio, can continue hit the 13-15 foot jump shot, lookout for the high/low.

Outside shooting and shot choice was excellent, competition????

Braun is a player but don't sleep on Enaruna. So mobile, quick, 7ft wingspan, and already an excellent defender and he can handle the ball. Loves to drive the lane. Will shoot lots of free throws in coming years.

RCJK (beat KSU tomorrow)

Sad that it wasn't a full house. Game didn't show us much. Sure shots were falling, but I'm guessing Duke plays better D than PSU. Dok still can't hit a FT was really my only takeaway.

If I had to make a bet, I'd say that we've seen the last of Mitch for the year. Love watching him play, but would love to see him play significant minutes as a senior, and if he has his Master's in his pocket by then, all the better. Not a fan of his current haircut choice, but I was young and stupid once too and might have had some "the guy down the hall in the dorm has clippers" moments that I wouldn't repeat. If the tradeoff is watching Mitch again next year, I'll take it.

Things get real next week. In the meantime, it's always fun to watch 40 minutes of highlights. Jankovich's 3 was pretty cool too. Teahan's wedged ball was also pretty fun. I'm sure his teammates will have fun with that for a while, as they should.
