Sounds like he expects dire consequences. eventually. I read it as "We have a great group of kids that are as talented as any we have had in a while. We will play about 38-40 games and win most of them. Then it will be out to our lawyers to see if this season stays on the books. If that goes well our post season ban will hit 20-21 while we rebuild."

Seriously, his comments and his demeanor are incredibly upbeat and positive, as if he either knows something to justify that or he feels very confident they’re going to rock and roll on the court this year and take any lumps next season - as Illhawk posited.
