KU Tops in Wins under Self

Since 2004, KU has won 472 games. That is more than any other D-1 team. Self can legitimately be considered as not the greatest in terms of the NCAA tourney but in the regular season, he is the king. Incidentally, the current top 8 as per ESPN going into the 2019-20 season rank 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9 in terms of most wins since 2004. Only Gonzaga (ranked 4th) is not in the top 8 as per ESPN. And Gonzaga's W/L record is skewed since they do not play in a power 5 conference.
