I am by no means an NBA talent scout but it does not stop me from playing one on the internet. I think the biggest issue DD will have making the jump to the NBA is how quick your release needs to be on your shot, especially from beyond the arc. The NBA makes the court look so small that even when it looks like you are wide open you only have a second to get your shot off. If I remember correctly DD's release is not that quick though he does shoot it well.
