Rough night for the team! There were some bright spots, and it was nice just to see Releford, Young, Little, Case, and the players who were at the meet and greet in Lawrence, but they looked pretty ragged, and Sideline Cancer was just too tough for them. Little had a nice game and so did Young. Unfortunately, Perry went down within the first minute and it was serious enough for his being taken to the hospital.

I don't know if this was a single elimination tournament. If not, let's hope our guys have Perry back in the lineup!

I watched parts of the game but not a lot. I missed the beginning so I do not have any idea what happened to Perry. Hopefully it is not serious and he will not miss time from work.

At the 58 minute mark, Perry was under the basket trying to get a shot up. He fell and landed awkwardly, somehow injuring his knee to the point that he couldn't get up. Eventually he was helped into the locker room and from there was taken to the hospital. The commentators said he looked up at his family before being helped off the court. They believed it was a look of disbelief that he was badly injured.

According to this ESPN page, every team has, what looks like, a ranking next to their name. Self Made doesn't. I wonder why not.
And murph, it does appear to be a single elimination tournament so we won't get to watch them on Saturday.

Very sorry for Perry. About no # behind Self Made - ESPN error. Should have been a #3 (seed).
