Greg Ostertag mentioned extensively in this long article about Art Briles. The very controversial ex Baylor head football coach was recently hired by Mount Vernon High School in East Texas. As it turns out Greg Ostertag and his wife are very prominent citizens in Mount Vernon and doing some very nice, civic minded things to help the city. The article is long but about halfway through are some nice mentions of Sir Ostertag and his bride. He has really turned out to be a very good man along with his wife who also seems to be a fine woman. Nice to see some afterlife (well after basketball life that is) stories of our beloved Jayhawks.
