"It's frickin' Kansas basketball.”

Tyshawn Taylor was recently in town. In his interview he gave the following quote, "It's frickin' Kansas basketball,” Taylor said. “If you can't get up for that you're probably playing the wrong sport.". Gotta love it.

I truly wish I could look back fondly at Tyshawn, especially we are currently witnessing his video appearances and talents.

Unfortunately, what I remember most is his one-handed slings (passes?) to someone in the 3rd or 4th row of the bleachers. The second characteristic is that I never, ever, saw him pat his chest to indicate a misguided pass or any other mistake was his fault.

Maybe folks more understanding and forgiving than I can point out all his positive traits. It is time I looked upon him more favorably.
