Also RJ Hampton (2020 looking to reclassify) was first team All-USA.
Hoping he can reclassify and he opts to be a Jayhawk!

I find the following quote from the article to be interesting.
"As for the top players in the nation, KU target R.J. Hampton, a 2020 point guard from Little Elm, Texas, who is considering reclassifying into the 2019 class, was one of five players named to USA Today’s first team All-USA High School Boys Basketball squad, while fellow KU targets Matt Hurt, who will announce his decision Friday, Precious Achiuwa and Stanley, landed on the second and third teams."
Hurt and Achiuwa are ranked higher than Hampton, Braun, and McBride, and yet they don't get picked by USA Today. Hopefully that means that we are getting at least two diamonds from the rough.
