Anyone else GLAD that Preston bought the flashy wheels, bringing attention to himself early? Sorry this happened, but we nipped in in the bud!

Guess we should have suspected Silvio's online completion coursework as suspect? Coming in mid-year like he did! Silvio flashing around that “diploma” in his McCarthy hall dorm room! How could our compliance officers have MISSED that! Silvio’s roommate? Where was he?

Lock them up!!!!!! ;-)

I've thought the same thing about Preston, but I also think it supports the idea that KU is pretty proactive about this stuff. Rather than play him and try to figure out if something was up (which would have been perfectly legal since the NCAA cleared him already), KU went above and beyond to investigate and held him out.

As for the money that's getting returned to KU, I think it supports the idea that KU was innocent and was damaged by Gatto and makes Gatto look to be admitting he was guilty.

Maybe I'm seeing this backward, but it seems to support the idea that people may have been doing things behind the program's back that the program had no knowledge of.
