BU wins Kim Mulkey’s 3rd title 82-81. BU controlled the game through most of the first 30 minutes until team leader and defensive anchor Lauren Cox left the game with a knee injury. ND mounted a furious comeback, actually taking the lead at one point, but ended up losing when their star guard (81% FT shooter) misses 2 of her last 4 FTs at the end of the game, including missing one of the two needed to tie the game with 3.9 seconds left. Congrats to BU.
