UCLA is trying to get Cal to move to...Cal.

Kentucky is offering him a lifetime deal to stay.

What I'd LOOOOOVE to see would be Cal to take the UCLA job and for Kentucky to be found to have huge violations a week after he leaves.

Calipari's name was definitely in the mix, but he's unlikely. Looking now like it might be TCU's Jamie Dixon, or Cinci's Mick Cronin.

I also read separately that Shaka Smart's name was being kicked around. I don't see Cal leaving UK unless the poop was about to hit the fan. If that's not about to happen, there's no reason for him to leave a strong program to go west and face a rebuilding project.

But hey, you never know.
