Nike scandal?

Today, infamous attorney Michael Avenatti (porn star Stormy Daniel's lawyer) was arrested for trying to squeeze $20-25 million out of Nike, threatening to release information surrounding a "scandal perpetrated by Nike" that supposedly "reaches the highest levels of Nike and involves some of the biggest names in college basketball."

Supposedly there's a 2nd attorney involved and the client is associated with AAU basketball.

Ok, I don't trust Avenatti as far as I can throw him, and he's going to jail now. Still, only a completely moron would try to twist Nike's arm if they didn't think that they had SOMETHING on them. Unfortunately, if this is true, Avenatti's arrest gives Nike some time to cover up anything that might be out there, but it would be EXCELLENT to see Nike get exposed similarly to Adidas (or worse) and expand the sneaker company scandal to some of the Nike schools we all probably assume are guilty.

I assume no one believes that Addidas is the only shoe company doing these things. I just wish there would be an investigation into,all,of it...all the shoe companies, the AAU stuff, etc.
