RCJHGKU!!!

I have to admit to you all that I took down my myriad of KU paraphernalia and accoutrements after we lost any chance for 15 straight.

All except the flag of course. And the banner over my BBQ area. Oh, and the Jayhawk headstone in the side yard. Oh, and also the . . .well, never mind. My point is I was quite deflated a few weeks ago.

But I'm excited now!!

Win or lose it's crimson and blue flowing through my cardiovascular system.

Still wearing my KU clothing, although Cal Bear wife points out that it's all I have. I told her "Well at least I was recruited by my department at KU for my academic merit and not because of my "purported frisbee golf skills" like you Cal Bears!

Let's do this.

I have a yard whirlygig that my father in law bought me many years ago that I only put out at the beginning of the Big XII tournament until we lose. It's kinda windy down here this time of year and my husband will ask if I want to take it down until the wind dies. I always say no because much like the team, it has to weather the storm.

It'll feel better when it stops hurting
