Did he get injured? Piss of Self? I don't get it. He's been playing awesome. He was 2-2 from the field and I barely saw him after the first timeout. He didn't do any worse than anyone else. Utterly frustrating and confusing.
Listening to Self in the postgame after the WVU win, he hinted that a four-guard rotation would be necessary in order to match up with ISU. In a pre-game interview today, he said they would likely switch on ball screens, meaning the big man would have to take on guards. I guess he didn't like DM having to do that.
Yeah that seemed to work for him. LOL At least D Mac was making his shots. I'm not the coach and love Self to death but it seems to me what he tried didn't work and we were getting torched either way so I'd have kept letting him play.
