Especially when we are not a 1 or 2 seed.
Lunardi currently has KU as a 4 seed in the East, and I have to admit that given the situation I would love to see this bracket come to pass.
UVA as the 1, Tennessee the 2, Houston the 3, Maryland the 5, Nevada the 6, Louisville 7, UW 8.
Texas the only other Big 12 team in our region.
Wouldn't see Virginia until the Sweet 16.
Wouldn't see Texas, Tennessee, Houston, Louisville, Nevada or Texas until the Regional Finals.
Wouldn't see any other Big 12 teams, Duke, tarred ones, or squid until the FF.
If the Jayhawks were fortunate enough to make the FF they could conceivably face the tarred ones in the NSF, and then maybe Duke or squid in the NC. And only one of Duke and Squid could make the FF as both are in the South.
Yep, I would really like to see a bracket like that for KU.

I think that bracket pretty much guarantees that we don't get to the Elite 8. I do not see us in any way shape or form beating UVA right now. Could it happen? maybe. But I really doubt it. We need more games under our belt for this team to figure it out. As such, I am hoping for three games in the Big 12, but fear it will only be 2

HE - that's a good rule - neither Lunardi nor Palm are very accurate. From a selfish standpoint, I don't like the bracket that you cited. I am still hoping that KU will play 1st & 2nd round games in Tulsa. I realize that they likely have played their way out of the Midwest Regional. When I saw Kong's post, I thought maybe he was going to applaud that bracket, given the East Regional location. I agree with Kong about KU not beating UVA.
I hope KU plays well in Big 12 tourney - if beat UT (definitely should), then beat likely TT, final will probably be vs ISU - doesn't sound like KSU will play Wade and maybe not Stokes.
