In my opinion, I like this teams chances of playing on a neutral court. They seem to be fine in that type of environment. They are horrendous on an opponents home court. So I think they could actually do better than we anticipate. Who knows, it's a total crap shoot. NONE of us, if we are honest, expected Newman to catch fire like he did. I honestly kept waiting for him to go back to his sporadic play through the regular season. Therefore, we have no idea who might come alive and be a killer in the tourney! This is a talented team. Just had a lot of ups and downs and bumps in the road to deal with this year.
Let's get this show on the road already!

I, too, like KU’s chances much more now that there are no true road games in the near future.
But one concern I have is that although KU is undefeated at neutral sites* this season, that team is no longer playing. The current lineup has yet to play a neutral site game, so it will be interesting to see how they handle it. Keeping my fingers crossed that the pressure yields diamonds!
*4-0 against Michigan St, Marquette, Tennessee and (in Sprint Center, which IMO is NOT a home game for KU regardless of what anyone else may think) New Mexico St.

I think the Big 12 tourney is a crap shoot. We could win the whole thing, or we could lose on Friday (I think we beat Texas in our first game).
I'll be happy if we survive the first weekend of the NCAA tournament. I think we'll be a 4 seed which means we'll play a 13 and then a 5 seed (unless we get lucky and play a 12 seed). I think that 2nd round game could go either way based on this team's youth, the fact that we'll be playing someplace not called Allen Fieldhouse, and the inconsistency we've demonstrated.
