As we lament the end of the regular season without a championship, I ponder what actually happened, and the positives:
1. Undefeated at home: A major accomplishment given all the challenges of the season
2. Losses all time at Allen: Scott Drew - 14 Bill Self - 13
3. Likely NCAA seed 3-5: A woeful seed for KU. A once in a lifetime seed for 90% of other teams.
4. Played most difficult schedule in the country, and may still have 25+ wins
5. Dotson came alive as a killer point guard. We're in good hands going forward.
6. McCormack is coming alive, and will be a beast.
7. OA and Grimes will be solid to great next year, with hopefully everyone returning.
8. Big 12 has woken up, which will be good for everyone, including KU. The conf race will be a thriller going forward.
