. . . and switched to hoping. Now I'm one half away from no hope.

Oh well, crimson and blue through and through,

Remembering what this team was supposed to look like, I’m impressed they are still in the mix. And they are still in this game. Time for Self to put the alma mater voodoo behind him and coach these guys to a win. I blame all our Stillwater losses on Self’s twisted psyche on playing at his alma mater. Time for him to step up and guide his guys.

Bay, I have been a Jayhawk fan for 44 years. In that time I have come to understand the things I like about Jayhawk teams and the things I don't like so much. One of the things that I like are Jayhawk teams that are upper-classmen dominated. Even when we have the top HS recruits and strong freshmen classes (like in 2014 with Wiggins, Embiid, Selden and Mason) I am less enthused about the team. Players like Jeff Withey, Tyshawn Taylor, Kevin Young, Tyrel Reed, Brady Morningstar, Travis Releford, Perry Ellis, Frank Mason, Landen Lucas, Devonte' Graham, Svi Mykhailiuk and others always earn my affection a little more. Younger teams in general are prone to erratic and inconsistent play. Seniors are often less innately talented but far more consistent and dependable and thus productive. The one and done has made the senior dominated teams far more rare. Like you, I am Crimson and Blue through and through, but the state of the game in some ways has daunted my enthusiasm. This team is unquestionably the worst road team I can recall at Kansas.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!

Between 1972 and 1982, 3 KU squads were 3-8 on the road or worse.

The lean years...

May we never see another era like it. B)
