As with any stat, you try to stay in the lane of meaning and validity. But once again, Self pulls the plug on McCormack so quickly. He had a decent game as did Lightfoot. Yet Self played small for a good percentage of the game. Heck, maybe that was the right thing and playing McCormack or Lightfoot more would have been worse. But Self sure seems to pull McCormack quickly when he makes a mistake. KJ had a decent game as well. Ochai was very freshman-esque and Devon had one of his worst games. Quentin and Marcu were actually only mediocre rather than terrible.

Seems to me that one of our main bread and butter plays has been the lob from wherever to Dok for a thunder dunk...why have we seemed to abandon something they've practiced and perfected just because our big men rotate...positioning and footwork to get open is the same...they can all play above the rim....success inside seems like it would also help open up the outside again...is Dok the only big man on the team that can catch and dunk? I don't think so...Ochai has shown flashes but it's like we've removed the play from our mix...this should be a primary skill from Dotson to McCormack too...why not use it and get it right again
