IMO this is a turning point. Foul Outs, on the road, down late, and we still win through shear will, and guts. This team needed this win. They now have it in their basket ball soul. Go hawks.

I totally agree! To me one of the big things is that it took an effort from every one of the scholarship players 2 contribute and pull this one out. In the postgame show there was a brief clip of Coach Self coming into the locker room and all of the guys jumping around and mobbing him. He even said in his post-game interview that that was the best postgame locker room they've had all year. If this doesn't get them going, I don't know what will.

Brief certainly described it.
I wanted to see more, didn’t you?
Looked like a happy, fun place to be.

It has all the markings of a turning point, so I hope it is. Of course, the future will determine if it was.
Despite blowing the lead, the guys battled through. With both Lightfoot and Lawson fouled out, the pressure was really on Dotson, Grimes and Agbaji to get it done. We got some unanticipated help from KJ Lawson and McCormack. While I wanted to jump through the TV and choke McCormack for that last foul, he actually had a pretty strong rebound on the previous free throw miss. A TCU guy pretty much had the ball, and McCormack ripped it cleanly out of his hands and secured it.
To win with Lawson on the bench should (I hope and pray) give the OTHER guys on the team a boost of confidence that they really need.
Bottom line, it looked like these guys became a team last night. Let's hope that this gives them some momentum going forward.
