Wow, wow, wow - what a first half against Texas Tech.

Everything is so different when you're hitting your shots. But we're also just playing well. I guess this is what happens when you back Self and the Jayhawks into a corner. Hopefully, we can keep this intensity up in the second half.

Having watched the game and looking at the stats 2 players looked better to me than what the stats indicate. QG and CM both played with energy. I thought CM took a couple of long 3 pointers that he did not need to but other than that he set up his team mates. His 6 assists were a big part of our ability to maintain a lead. Hopefully the Hawks can bring that kind of energy from here on.

Agree that CM's shot selection at times was awful. Nevertheless it was great to see a full half go well. In fact, I paid special attention to the last minute (to see if we'd let off the gas) an in fact we didn't. That's good.

We kind of let them back in a little bit in the 2nd half, but the fact that we ended up "winning" the 2nd half (at least until we put i the bench guys) is also good.

Now we need to play like that consistently.
