Baylor now favored to win Big 12 (sort of)

What is next? Will dogs start sleeping with cats? Great scotts!!! Baylor is now sitting atop the Big 12 in terms of probability to win. Well sort of. It is essentially a dead heat with Iowa St. and Kansas just a fraction back. But right on the heels of Kansas are Texas Tech and Kansas St. This is a crazy close race. 7/10ths of a game separate 1st through 5th and Texas is only 1.7 games back.

Ugh. We can't let Scot Drew win the thing.

Schedule seems weird this year. Some teams are still a game behind in terms of games played, and it's odd that we've played ISU and Texas twice but haven't played Tech, OSU or KSU yet. Obviously that's set to change very quickly.

We certainly have plenty of opportunity left, but that opportunity will disappear in the next few games. We pretty much have to turn this thing around now or it's not going to happen.

One bright note and the reason we are still in 3rd is that we have already played three of the 4 games against the 2 teams ahead of us and the only remaining game is Baylor in Lawrence. That is a nice positive.
