In practice at the Phoenix Open, Gary Woodland and Matt Kuchar invited a girl with Down's Syndrome to play a hole with them in front of a huge crowd. You'll have to watch the video to see what happens. Might want to have some Kleenex handy.

I’ve been following Gary on the Tour very closely for the last number of years. He is a very hard worker and, as this shows, seems to be a quality human being. A great ambassador for Kansas University!

Thanks for sharing!!! That was fantastic!!
I'm a golfer and cannot imagine playing that well in that environment.
I have been following Gary and am glad he is a Jayhawk!
As a side note, my son was in Phoenix a couple of years ago in March and made it a point to play that course. It was not nearly in the pristine condition that it is during the tournament and the 16th hole is unrecognizable without the grandstands.

I played there about 10 years ago about a month before the tournament, and got to play 16 when the grandstands were probably 90% completed. It was like walking into an empty baseball stadium. Pretty cool. Also a whole lot less intimidating when there are only 4 guys in the stands and they're busy assembling scaffolding.
I like Gary. Great moment for everyone involved. Up and down from the trap incredible.

Shared the story/video with my three daughters. Great reactions from all three. So proud to be a Jayhawk. Go Gary.
