A big little thing... rebounding

One of the things that impressed me in past years is how well our guards rebound.

Dotson seems to get it. Garret seems to get it. Agbaji seems to get it.

But Grimes doesn't seem to even try. The shot goes up and he just seems to watch and not try to block out, not move to the ball, not even break for a fast break chance. He just sort of waits.

This is an area that he could really help the team while he struggles to get his confidence back.

Without doing little things, players who are struggling become liabilities.

Yep. Unless he's been told to get back to defend against the fast break, some rebounds would certainly be helpful. And while size is a factor in rebounding, so is hustle and effort. Ask Dennis Rodman (6'8") who led the NBA for what seemed like forever.
