Will we see two road wins tonight? Are those Big XII hen’s teeth becoming more common?

Hopefully stays common for KU for sure.

ISU had a 16-4 run to end the half.

TT has trailed at the half in 3 (4 now? All but 1?) of it’s Big XII games. Can they come back again to stay alone in first or will they suffer their first Big XII loss of the season and be tied with KU at 4-1?

H2 coming up... Go, ‘Clones!

TT gifted a 3 pointer when another TT player was fouled by ISU before the shot, but refs gave the shooter the trey. Bad, bad call by the refs allowing the trey.

Just hope if TT pulls it out that they do so by at least 4.

2 possession game with ISU up and under 4 to go. I'd happily send ISU a thank you note if this works out in our favor.

Not to get ahead of things, but if so, it would be a home loss for Tech, and as we all know, holding home court is an important thing in this league. Losses suck, but losing at home REALLY sucks.

Good to see:

ISU's defense has gotten pretty weak (foul trouble) and they're having trouble executing on offense...even getting the ball inbounded.

Tech doesn't look much better.

I think sometimes we get critical of KU (they're obviously flawed) but forget that other teams will be facing have some glaring imperfections too.

Woo hoo! ISU takes down TT in Lubbock.

Fun fact, only KU and TCU are undefeated at home.

Perhaps more like "ominous" --

Turnovers: 9 each
Fouls: ISU 16, TT 15
Rebounds: ISU 5-34|39, TT 9-28|37

TT made 26 of 63 FGs (6 3s) to ISUs 25 of 57 FGs (5 3s)
and one of TTs 3s should not have counted, bad call by the refs, so TT got the home court break there

ISU was 13-19 from the FT line (68.4%)

TT came into the game hitting 71.4% of its FTs.
Tonight they were 40%: 6-15, including missing a couple of front ends of 1&1s.
Hitting average would have yielded at least 4 more points and a tie without factoring in possible additional points lost due to missed front ends.

KU was fortunate against tu Monday, our FT woes didn't lead to a loss.
Tech -- thankfully for KU, was not so lucky.
