"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"

I was loud, I was proud! No photos. Well, I took one from my seat in the grad student section, so I could send the photo of the BIG Jayhawk on the floor to my friends clueing them in to Big Monday.
You folks, with a keen eye and grasp of the game, have done your part. I can’t do that stuff.
All I know is that, I cannot recall the last time I was in the Fieldhouse fo see a men’s game. I do believe Roy was still coaching! Dad gum!!!!
It’s sooooo much fun to sing and clap and SCREAM. I COULD definitely see marcus’s Offensive game. LaGerald makes me nervous, but every time he shoots (at least the grad student section) threw their arms up in the air to signal a three. TBC......

I have decided that this year I will adopt David McCormack. I love that kid. Yes he has a long way to go, but he’s articulate and polite. Love him. And you can see the adrenaline coursing through his veins....gotta control that, Big Guy.
Dok was on the sidelines. OMGoodness, even from the cheap seats, that man is huge!!!!!
I sat next to two women who were from the university of Nebraska, Lincoln—finance department. So nice. I told them about our traditions, and songs, etc. how things have changed since I was in school here.
They stood and clapped with the crowd. They were VERY excited to have scored tickets. I said be thankful the students aren’t fully back yet......there were some empty seats.
They miss the Big 12. Say they feel worse than a step-child in the Big 10. TBC

Doggonnit! I timed out!!!!
All I said was that the crowd seemed almost subdued. Did it come across that way on TV?
HE and K63......your decibel record still stands.
The area around the Fieldhouse was beautiful. Snowy. The light reflected off the low cloud cover so it glowed. Since it’s the Mecca of CBB, it May glow all the time!
The old barn retains its Magic. It NEVER gets old.
The museum looks so interesting. I’ll wander over someday. We took the shuttle, so we couldn’t dawdle.
That’s my report, for what it’s worth, My Friends.
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!
A few burnt orange folks in the crowd. Not enough to really notice....and they would have been in the general admission section with me!
