Cal Bear wife and I spent the past couple of weeks in Mexico City.* I left last year's Final Four Jayhawk flag flying as it seemed to get the job done last year. :cheer: Tattered and torn, with part of the "J" missing from the embroidered "Jayhawks", I departed confident it would see us through. ;)

Well, we just returned only to find the aluminum pole had snapped during a violent storm -- the solar light shattered on the stone wall several feet away. The flag, amazingly still intact, was laying on the ground apparently unable to deliver its "mojo". Although I wasn't home, it's pretty obvious the damage occurred late in the second half. I'm so sorry fellow Rock Chalk Zoners. :(

I immediately ordered a replacement, and I have a back up flag should it become necessary. Warning!: The new pole will not arrive until the Baylor game. :pinch: Hence, I may be without it for TCU. I'm working on a McGyver fix. Until then amigos, we'll just have to rely on our mighty 'hawks to take care of busniess .

That has got to be it. I hope the damage was not too severe. The Az St folks probably broke it knowing they did not stand a chance while it was flying high.
