Kansas, despite a close 3 point victory at home, remains strong landing in a solid 3rd place in the composite of all the computers. My DPPI dropped them to 6th since the DPPI depends more on margin of victory than some of the other models. KU’s offense dropped to 10th and the defense dropped to 38th. Both are decent numbers but the 3rd overall in the composite computer ranking has to be encouraging. DUke is first and Michigan is in 2nd.
The Big 12 also had a strong week moving closer to the Big 10 for top spot. It KU can beat Arizona St. and Texas Tech can beat Duke this week and all the other teams win the games they should, the Big 12 could close the gap possibly. The ACC is s distant 3rd. The composite average ranking for all teams in the conferences is;
Big 10 — 40.72
Big 12 — 43.16
ACC — 54.01
Big East — 60.70
Sec — 63.82
PAC 12 — 92.92
