Lawson

Anyone else wonder what is going on with Lawson? Is he hurt? Sick? Supposedly a pre-season All-American who looks quite un-athletic and can't shoot at all. He can rebound, but all in all, he looks pretty weak. What's up?

I raised the issue of Lawson after the Vermont game. He can't jump so a 6'5" player can stuff him. He is very good at free throws, and sometimes hits a 3, but that is about it on offense. He does rebound on defense. It was scary when both Lawson and Garret were on the floor at the same time.

Lawson has been an enigma. He just seems out of it. This whole team seems like they are just out of it. Grimeshas done little. We were not the better team in the 1st half by a long shot.

Put Lawson finally figured out how to score and played incredible defense and rebounded throughout. Plus a couple of nifty assists. Even Garrett made a couple of good plays, including the 2 to end the half that started a 24-0 run. Repeat after me, "Bill Self knows more than I do"
