Vick goes for 32 and Cedric Lawson gets a goose egg? Wow...

Gotta admit I've always had a soft spot for Vick...he can be very frustrating but as we saw when he gets it together he can be a one man highlight show

I am not giving ESPN ransom money as I already pay for ESPN through Direct-TV, so I listened to the game. When I looked at the box score something that I found encouraging about Dedric's game was the 7 rebounds. It sounded like it was a night where he couldn't hit water from a row boat. 7 rebounds in 19 minutes is still being helpful. Obviously I have no idea how his defense looked but hopefully he can come back next game and things will fall.

Yes, an odd game to be sure. Vick was amazing, and nobody could stop Dok once they started getting the ball to him. Some bright flashes elsewhere, but Dedric (not Cedric...I'm learning these too, lol) was just out of sorts. I'm not giving up on him, and dropping 20 points on Michigan State vs. nada against UVM tells me that it's likely a combination of a bad night, and the fact that the 2018-19 Jayhawks are still getting used to each other.

Wasn't thrilled that UVM came out and got a lot of easy open shots. I'm sure HCBS will run the tape back. I was doing the same with the DVR looking at who was missing who to set up all of those easy 3's UVM made in the first half. Plenty of blame to go around there.

UVM is good. Good test for us. Always happy to see our guys face some adversity and have to learn to overcome it.

All grammatical errors are excused automatically until conference play starts. Some that have tripped me up over the years:

Dwight ColEby
Wayne SeldEn (I used at least 3 different vowels there at some points)
BrAnnen GreenE (Brannen, Brennan, Brennen, Brannan...toMAYto, toMAHto...and sometimes silent vowels are also invisible)
Jamari TraYlor (..and sometimes "y"...or "i"...and sometimes the "or" at the end was a victim of my ignorance.

Thankfully nicknames like "Dok" and "Svi" are occasionally created to save me from myself.

...maybe a poll is in order...most commonly misspelled player name.....
