I didn't really follow the kid's recruiting, maybe because my gut always said he wasn't coming to KU.
Nova is an excellent choice for him, and for any player really. Great recent success. Seemingly a great coach. He will be the outright star instead of sharing the spotlight at KU for his one season. Not once have I heard Nova included in any FBI accusations. East coast experience for a kid from the Midwest. Creating your own legacy instead of constant talk of being Lester's kid.
I suspect the FBI stuff helped with the decision, but overall can't find any fault with his choice.
