... but not who you might expect... no sign of any Lawson any where...

Firmly seated in the peanut gallery.....I guessed these two from the header.
Guess I haven’t been paying attn to the entire team and possibilities/talent.
WSG.

Wheaty, all the talk from the "gurus" (other college coaches, CBB hoops analysts, etc.) as the summer progressed leading into this fall has been how great Memphis transfer Dedric Lawson is going to be for KU, how the Jayhawks' offense will run through him (think Danny needing a touch on every possession, more often than not ending in points or an assist for him -- same mind set and similar skill set), and talk of him as preseason Big 12 POY and All-American. Apparently none of this discussion over the past 4 months has registered with the ESPN mock draft author(s)? Nope, instead ESPN is gonna promote the hell outta the Diaper Dandy (and I sure hope Quentin is all that and a bag of chips) because that's ESPN's emphasis (thank you, NBA OAD rule). The transfer won't get a lot of attention until he actually proves he can do what is being projected for him.
But isn't the DD subject to the same standard? SMH.
Barring injury, we should expect this to be Dedric's only season playing for KU. I don't expect him back for the AY2019-20 season.
