Very interesting all around.


Regarding this line:

The system won't give more weight to games late in the season, instead omitting game date and order from the data.

In the past, iff a team was hot near the end of the season, I feel like their seed was often moved up a good amount. Will that not happen now? It seems that it's not supposed to, but we'll see how much of the committee's subjectiveness comes into play


And this one:

It also caps the winning margin at 10 points to discourage teams from running up the score.

That capped number seems pretty low. I would think it should be around 20 or 25...still a reasonable number for a blowout.
