Sam is gone
Vick's return was a key factor in Sam's decision to leave.
Since he never really used a red shirt year, his next program will get a guy who will have to sit out 2018-19, but will be eligible for 2019-20 and 2020-21.
Best of luck to the young man, wherever he ends up.

Not a surprise. Sam sounds like he has no regrets and a good attitude, so good for him and best of luck. Hope gets to play a LOT of minutes wherever he ends up. He deserves it.
From a coach's perspective, wherever he goes will be getting a kid with 3 years of D1 experience under the tutelage of a couple of very good coaches, with another full year of prep time until he finally gets to spend his final 2 years of eligibility. By the time he hits the court wherever he goes, he'll be 4 years in, likely have his degree already completed, will be physically as mature as most NBA guys. Not a bad score for the right program, and Sam will likely wind up with at least a masters out of the deal.

...BUS. and the wheels just keep on spinning. Could there be more passengers lurking on campus. just IMHO, to many Jayhawks, spoils the broth, or was it J e l l - O, meds, pillows, can't remember. thank you, texkan ;p
