De Sousa guardian has had long relationship with KU freshman and his family

De Sousa's guardian claims that he's done nothing wrong. It sounds good, but the comments following the article bring up potentially more negative scenarios.

Given the pace of the FBI AND the NCAA, this will not be worked through before next year and KU will be forced to decide whether to play a possibly inelgible player. Given the Billy Preston precident, DeSouza probably should just go ahead and declare for the draft.

I'm sure that Self has already had this discussion with DeSousa. The ONLY way we see DeSousa play would be if he had information SO compelling that Self would give it more credence than FBI wiretaps.

The only way I see that happening would be if the Addidas guy was embezzling the money and falsifying who he was giving it to.

The other thing that bugs me is that this black cloud will be hanging out for quite before there's any resolution I'm afraid.
