Not hiring an agent, but reading his Mom's quotes and what we have all heard/speculated, Vick will NOT be a Jayhawk next year.
I guess that solves all scholarship issues and opens a spot for Romeo
I wish Vick the best of luck in his future.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
This was completely expected. I'm not surprised or concerned. I think it opens up a spot for ROmeo and KU will actually gain. Having said that, Vick had a surprisingly good and productive junior campaign. He did so much to help us have a great season and I truly hope he turns some heads and lands a spot in the NBA. He's a Jayhawk!!

It was time for them both. Many of my favorite Jayhawks went pro after three years in school; Paul, Drew , TRob, the Twins. Mario...
Malik is small for a shooting guard, so his ability to guard some of the best athletes in the world will determine whether he has a 10 year rotation player career or something less.
Vick has the length and fast twitch and a developing shot from three. It not that he hasn't been well coached, but how he develops to the specific needs of his employer may decide how long he stays in the Association.
Both should go in the second round and worse case be making six figures in Europe next season. Thanks for your efforts.
I hope Doke stays, next years draft should favor a stud real center, he could be lottery, maybe top 10.
I also hope we get Romeo, a batch of young guards may age HCBS, but next year we will be less perimeter dependent and he is well compensated.
The run the last two months was a pleasant surprise after some of the early calamities.Next year we could be REALLY good.
