Final Player Ratings

Devonte -- Amazingly consistent. Didn't blow the doors off in the post-season but solid and consistent.
Svi -- Reasonably solid. Poor game against Clemson and slightly down against Villanova. Overall probably a good season but not great.
LaGerald -- Really fell off again the last 2 games especially Villanova. Never really regained the form he had playing the weaker teams. Not a primetime player but certainly had some nice moments. IMHO and bench player with 15 minutes per game.
Newman -- Other than the 12 game period (game 7-18) where he had only 2 good games he had a very nice season. He was brain dead in the final Big 12 game against Okie St. but other than that was as solid as Devonte' over the last half of the season. Obviously a strong post-season.
Dok -- Very solid season. I sure hope he comes back. He will anchor what could be a monster frontcourt and I mean monster. No mojo against Villanova but what a great season.
Marcus -- I love the kid and try to constantly remember he is a freshman. But I can no way see him starting until he improves his offense. I suspect he will do just that in the off-season.
Silvio -- The biggest change in this team this season was Silvio emerging as the frontcourt backup. His numbers are strong. Very very strong. I am super excited about this kid next year and I mean super excited.
Lightfoot -- Mr. Jayhawk. No one on this team is more true blue jayhawk or has a better attitude or demeanor. But he is not a center and never will be. I hope he really improves his dribbling and shooting to compete for minutes at the 4 and possibly 3 in a big lineup.
