So Ochai’s ride is covered, and Romeo’s s main competition for PT is gone.
Just need someone else to depart to cover Romeo having a seat on the bus.

Best of wishes to Malik at the next level. I really grew to like him and his quiet, winning persona.

His departing video message punctuated how special he felt his time was at KU and with Coach Self.
“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

Can't say I'm happy about this or surprised. This was always his plan, and his play at the end of the season certainly was a huge contributor to our success and should improve his draft stock.

I hope he goes early enough to get a guaranteed deal. Thanks Malik. Good luck.
