I know most of you have probably already read the article below, and the only question mark was about Dok's mom getting all the government red tape out of the way before heading to the good ol' USofA.

About 20 minutes ago JayhawksSlant's Shay Wildeboor posted that Mrs. Azubuike is all cleared and should be in SATX to see her son play for the very first time on Saturday! OutSTANDING news!

So happy Mama of Dok can be in da house!!! What a marvelous way for the parents to see their sons “at work”; what good care they are in and the love the Jayhawk Nation has for their sons!

As of Thursday afternoon, Florence had been approved for a visa at the embassy in Abuja (which is 570 miles from where Azubuike grew up in Delta, Nigeria) and was set to board a flight to reach San Antonio by late Friday afternoon. There was a bit of a hangup, however, as Air France has announced it will cancel a significant amount of flights because of a strike.

I tried to find anything related to the Air France strike and found this. It seems they'll be canceling about 25% of their flights. Good luck to Ms. Azubuike. I hope her flight is in order and that she gets here safely!
