What a game. From the Friday crowd, I was worried that it would be about 50/50. That clearly didn't happen - KU more and louder.
KU had chances to get a nice lead, but could never break out. Think they were up 5 and had a steal, when Devonte threw the breakaway pass out the end zone. Malik had 6 points at half - I kept wondering when he was going to start playing - thankfully got my answer quickly in 2nd half. He did it all, but especially driving to basket and getting fouled - 11 of 12 free throws - team total was 15 and Dok had two of those. Dok does frequently get jobbed on the foul calls - you can mangle him and get away with it, but if he looks crosswise it's a foul. Devonte is still off, but thankfully have 3 other guards who can play-make. Feel Dok's movement is impeded either by injury or the brace, maybe both.
Svi's 3 at end of regulation was big. Had almost resigned myself to a loss. When got to OT, reminded me of 2008 NC game.

Totally thrilling and the fact that Grayson Allen missed his shots at the end of both regulation and OT to seal their fate just makes it even better.

Knew Allen was going to go Hero Ball. Had to trust the defense. Malik rocks.

Yes, he does, hoshi, yes he does!
Our very own "Postseason 'Lik", as his teammates have started calling him.
