RCJHGKU! Mrs. LKF’s water might have broken this morning , but it was a wasn’t like movies, so we are at home waiting and watching per Doctor’s instructions.

Congrats, LKF!!
Hope all goes well. Thinking that "Devonte" might make a nice middle name.
Here's to a quick and easy delivery BEFORE tipoff so the whole family can watch the game together.
(My son's b-day is March 13, 1998 and some of his first few days were spent watching KU hoops. You can't start them too young).

All quiet of the baby front. We thought last night, but doctor says we are still in the early stages of labor.
Hopefully we will be celebrating on all fronts tomorrow evening.

Baby Girl LKF, aka Annika was born at 12:40PM, April 3, 2018 at Prentice Hospital, Chicago Illinois. Annika weighed in at 7lbs 5 oz. and measures 20.5" long. Mom and baby are doing fine, and are resting comfortably. I have not bee able to uploads photos.

Re: photos - you cannot upload them directly to this site.
You have to upload them to a site like imgur.com (free site I use, there are others, just needs to be a shareable site, not something like facebook, which only subscribers can see), and then link here to the pics using the IMAGE command icon in the menu bar at the top of the Message window.

Congratulations. With three daughters and four granddaughters, all I can say is that both of you are in for an amazing experience. Call me when Anika turns 11-12 and I can provide you with advice I wish I had with my first daughter. I made ever conceivable mistake a Dad with no sisters or close female cousins could make about how to handle adolescent girls. But I learned quickly. I am so excited for you and your wife.
